Als je zelf ontroert raakt, volgt de rest vanzelf: Tamino
Giovanca interviewt de Belgische singer songwriter Tamino. Een gesprek over liedjes schrijven, jezelf ontroeren als tekstschrijver om vervolgens iedereen te ontroeren.
Tamino is een Belgische zanger, 22 jaar oud, geboren in Antwerpen, met een Belgische moeder en een Egyptische vader. Door zijn moeder is Tamino vernoemd naar het gelijknamige karakter in Mozart’s opera Die Zauberflöte, zijn grootvader van vaderszijde was de Egyptische zanger en acteur Moharum Fouad. In 2017 brak Tamino door met Habibi: een traag, donker, soms met enorm hoge kopstem, lang, maar prachtig nummer. In 2018 verscheen het debuutalbum ‘Amir’. Tamino werd bekend door mee te doen aan De Nieuwe Lichting (jong talent stuurt liedje in naar radiozender Studio Brussel), en stond in no time op Rock Werchter. In Nederland is zijn muziek ook geland.
